What format video tapes can you transfer?

We support pretty much any format of tape including VHS, VHS/C, Betamax, MiniDV(DVC), Video8, Hi8, Digital8, MicroMV, Betacam, DigiBeta, DVCam and many more...

Do you have a calculator on your website for estimating the cost

Yes. Each service has an information page, at the bottom of this page you will find a calculator for estimating the cost. Of you can contact our office and we will be happy to provide a quotation - Just Call 0800 043 0668

Can you repair broken tapes ?

Yes. We can splice full-size tapes and camcorder tapes. We also keep in stock most cassette parts to replace any broken plastic parts.

My tape is not 100% full, do you charge me for a complete tape ?

No. Our pricing model is based on the number of hours we recover from your tapes. Example. If you have ten videos and 4 hours of recordings across those tapes, then we only charge you for 4 hours.

If my tapes have TV recordings do you charge me?

No, we will only transfer home recordings. Any TV recordings will be deleted from the final version and will not be charged for.

My tapes have mould on them, can you help ??

Yes, we can help. Normally for larger tapes the mould can be treated and 99% of the time the transfer is fine ( sometimes with some picture noise ). Smaller camcorder tapes with mould can be more problematic and need to be investigated further, normally this affects Video8 and Hi8 tapes...

Do you adjust the picture and sound levels?

Yes, during transfer, we monitor the levels and make adjustments as required to optimise the final result

Can you convert NTSC and Secam Tapes ?

Yes, we offer a full transfer service for all TV systems worldwide. We can also transfer and convert the final format into any WW TV system - PAL-NTSC-SECAM

How can I receive my transfer?

We can offer the transfer via USB Memory Stick, Digital Download, DVD or Blu-Ray disk.

Can you convert standard definition to high definition?

Yes, we can upscale standard definition content to high definition using our commercial broadcast converters. Delivery of high-definition content is via USB memory stick, Digital Download or Blu-Ray disk.
